Cable List Import from Excel (Detail Design)
The Cable List Import from Excel function enables you to import existing cable lists from Microsoft-Excel.
Accessed from:
| Setting | Description |

| XLS File | Set the Cable List Excel worksheet that contains the
cable information.
Click the Browse
|
| XML File | The XML file determines how the information in Excel
table is read in
Bentley Raceway and Cable Management.
Click the Browse
 icon to display the
Configuration dialog allowing you to either modify the
existing XML file, or create a new template XML file to use.

| Start row | Determines the first row containing data. |
| End row | Determines the last row containing data. |
| Default System | Identifies the default Voltage level. |
button which appears when you
click in the field. Select XLS file and click OK.
Once you have selected the files to open, click OK to display the following dialog. This dialog displays the row values that will be imported and is for viewing purposes only.
Click OK to display the Collaboration Manager. From there you will complete the import process.
